hellooo!

So I know I skipped Saturday blogging! Time just got away from me! I totally forgot about it! Saturday Chad and I went to Atlanta and had a nice lunch with his parents, Cindy, Kelli, and Casey! It is always fantastic to see family and people that you care about so much. Chad and I also attempted to play tennis Saturday. I ended up throwing a "hissy fit" because I wasn't playing well. SO that didn't go over too well. That night we went to a friends birthday party downtown. We ate at a place called Pauly's. It is a crepe place! It was so fantastic! I loved it! And it was so CHEAP! NOW SUNDAY....this morning we went to church and heard a nice sermon about "what are you wearing?" It was all about wearing clothes of kindness and showing kindness to everyone. It was a really good message. After church, Chad, Tyler, Will, Ginger, Gordon, and I shared a lovely lunch with Oma and Opa (Chad's grandparents) that live here in Athens! We had the best food ever! Chad and I just love going over there and being around them! They are so great! We have had a bit of a lazy afternoon filled with lots of homework, which is no fun! Now its back to Monday tomorrow to start the week off! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Braves Day!

Today, Chad and I heard about this really awesome opportunity! Some of the Braves players and managers were going to be at Sports Authority signing autographs!! The gang all loads up and we all ride over. Well we couldn't find a parking spot. This parking lot is huge! There were over 500 people in the store. They were not even giving out numbers for you to stand in line anymore! :( It was still awesome though! We got to see Brian McCain up close! I have a picture! I'll have to upload it tomorrow! Chad, Tyler, and I ate with Kelli and Casey tonight! We had quite an interesting night. A girl almost hit Casey's car. So we are all screaming at her through the windows. Well Casey then lets us out and Kelli and I are walking up to the door. We are staring at this girl with evil eyes, because she was not acting like a normal human being. She then proceeds to roll down the window and yell at me and Kelli "Don't worry, we aren't eating here!" Kelli was like is she talking to me!!!???? It was so crazy. We were furious basically for no reason. People are just so weird and rude. Ladies need to act like ladies. Not crazy people. Enough said! Goodnight!!

Life is too short....

Thankful THURSDAYYYY did not start out well for me. I was supposed to be at Colham Ferry Elementary School at 7:35. I woke up at 7:44. Now keep in mind I get a grade in this class by being on time and dressing appropriately. I was freaking out! I also got lost on the way to the school! But it all worked out! Then I thought it was going to continue to be a horrible day until I realized life is too short! SO my day turned around! Our day ended with everyone gathering around the tv watching american idol! But now off to do homework now! Hope everyone had a great day! I hope you thought about what you are thankful for today! Thankful Thursday List: the Holy Spirit speaking to me, my wonderful mother, rides to and from class, fantastic friends who love me so much, a boyfriend that always knows the right things to say! I'm ready for flip flop weather!

hope everyone had a happy Windy Wednesday!!!!It sure was very cold and windy up in Athens today! Today was just an awesome and inspiring day! Chad got awesome news today! The music group that I told you all about last night that Chad auditioned for, WELLLLLLL he GOT IT! I am so proud of him! I knew he could do it! I encourage you all, if you have time of course, to come watch this group! They are really really talented! I am just thrilled for Chad. He has an excellent voice and should be using it! and now he gets too! woo woo! We all went to Wesley tonight. For those of you who do not know what Wesley is, it's a church organization through the Methodist Church here on campus that is HUGE! There are easily over 500 students that come to it on any given Wednesday! It's a great time of fellowship and just to release the weeks stresses out and praise God, which should be our ultimate goal in life. It is all about Him after all! We just got to here a fantastic message tonight that has inspired me in so many ways. We read Revelation 3 and 4. Those chapters are about being a lukewarm Christian. I think when you get in college or in our busy every day lives, sometimes we forget about Jesus, and what He did for us on the cross. I know being a lukewarm Christian is something everyone struggles with every now in then. But the message really fired me up about Jesus! It was just so awesome! I hope all of you had a great day! rain rain go away!

It has been raining for so long day! That is so depressing! Today was such an odd day! UGA police sent all the students an email that said they fouled a 40 year old guy dead in the Arts building! Yikes! I have class there in the morning! I saw a wreck today. Will had a girl in his class have a seizure. And UGA got beat in basketball by Florida!! Fantastic things that happened today though were that Chad got into the last rounds of his auditions for some singing group he is trying out for! We are all so excited for him! Hopefully he will find out more tomorrow whether he got into the group! Today was my first day in the elementary schools doing research! It was so awesome!! I love love love it! I cannot wait to be a teacher! Its one the the most awesome things EVER!!! They are calling for snow tomorrow! Pray for some snow days! :) Hope everyone had a terrific tuesdayyy!

Jan. 25th!

This Monday was so insane! I should be in bed right now, but I have about a million things going through my mind. I suddenly remembered that I forgot to update the blog today! Nothing interesting happen today EXCEPT that I had to sit in Chapter for three hours tonight. BUT, I finally got a room in the sorority house for next year. That was pretty exciting! Other than that, Chad took his accounting test today and says he thinks he did well. We all know he did just fine! Pretty productive day! Hope all of you had productive days too! nighty night!

Dinner with the girls!

Today was my next years roommate's birthday! A bunch of girls and I all went downtown and ate dinner! It was so nice just to have a girls night out! It was so much fun! All of my girl friends up here are so amazing!! Chad and I did not have a busy day however. We did lots of studying and homework today! We also played tennis!! I am getting so much better! Of course, it was all because I have a wonderful PATIENT coach! :) He is so greattt, Mr. Chad Cone! Chad has an accounting test tomorrow at two! So if you read this before two, feel free to send him a uplifting supportive text!! We all know he will do just fine though! I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
