Calling out to all the survivors out there!

Hello!!! I hope everyone is safe and sound. We had some pretty rough weather last night. I believe the tornadoes started about 1 and lasted until about 2. I don't know. When you are woken up at that hour by an emergency phone call and rushing around trying to figure out what to do, you do not really think about the time. haha So anyway, it never got terrible here. We just had a bad thunderstorm it seemed like. The wind never really picked up. The lightening was terrible though. Enough with the weather though, Chad and I have been studying for finals. I am trying to stay focused. It hasn't worked out for me yet, but I will let you know when it does. Nothing has really been going on. I got news yesterday that one of my best friends is getting married, and I am the bridesmaid to me. That was exciting. That is about all the excitement that has happened here in Athens. Oh yes, one more thing.....yesterday was the nation wide day of $0.31 ice cream day at Baskin Robbins. I got a waffle cone and two scoops of ice cream for ONE dollar. It was fantastic. :) If you didn't take advantage of that, you should have! OKK! Everyone have an awesome day!!

i figured.....

i figured since it was Tuesday I should probably blog. haha So much for keeping up with this everyday. Anyway, Easter weekend was amazing! I did not want to come back to school. Chad was ready of course because he wants to just get done. I am so ready! Nothing much has been going on. I keep saying this week is the calm before the storm. I do not have anything to do this week. But the next week and half I have five finals. I believe Chad does too. He has a lot of work to do this week though. He has been working hard. I cannot really think of anything else to say. haha so i hope everyone has had a great start to the week so far! :)

It's THANKFUL thursdayyy!!!!

Hellooooo!!!! Today is a fantastic day not only because it is thankful thursday but also because Chad and I get to GO HOME TODAYY!!!! I'm so pumped! I miss home so much! I never thought I would miss it as much as I do! We are so excited and so ready. This day is already dragging on! :( Anyway, last night Chad and I played ultimate frisbee. We lost once again. So we are done for this reason!! But we had so much fun and got to meet a lot of really cool people! We are looking forward to many more intramural sports in the future! That was about all we did yesterday. I had a lot of work to do. Chad had a test that he felt good about. So that was good. Now we are all packed and ready to come home! Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Easter weekend. I might not be on until Sunday...we will see!

Past few days......

Sorry guys....its a busy time heading into the last week and half of school!! YEAHHH!!!! Ok...so recap. Sunday: We all went to church. After church, our friend Sarah Hardy had a Palm Sunday lunch. We went to that. Chad and I brought cock pot Mac and Cheese! It was really good! It was a Paula Deen recipe! Everybody ate and then we hunted Easter eggs and played games! :) Monday: nothing interesting happened! I had chapter. Today....nothing much has happened. We are getting excited to come home. We are leaving Athens on Thursday and spending Easter in Thomasville! We are very excited! So that is about it. You are caught up on our lives so far. Chad has been studying hard for a test he has tomorrow. I am doing a paper, a resume, and i get to teach 18 3 and 4 year olds tomorrow! So i am super excited!!! :) I hope everyone has had a great day and start of the weekk!!! :)

Friday/Saturday!!

Gooddd morninggg! i hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the weekend so far!!! I had quite the busy day yesterday! I was busy all day yesterday doing relay for life stuff plus studying for a math test I had later that day! After the math test, I had to babysit. I am starting to volunteer for this organization here at UGA that puts on a night for the UGA faculty. Basically, we set up games, movies, and activities for the UGA faculty's kids, and they can bring their kids and drop them off. We babysit the kids and let the parents go out on a date night. It is a really cool night. Last night was my first night doing it. I had a blast. Relay for Life was also last night. I had to go to that as well. We had a blast out there. The weather did not want to cooperate. So we ended up having to leave early. My sorority raised the most money out of all the other sororities, fraternities, and other organizations on campus. We are excited about that!!! :) Today Chad has a concert, and we need to do some work! haha I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!!

Thankful Thursday!!

Good Morning!!!! Its Thursday!! Thursday is like probably my new favorite day of the week! Its the day before Friday, and we all get to sit around for 10 minutes and just reflect on what we are thankful for. I'm beginning to see how important this really is. I am so busy all the time. I know that we has humans tend to overlook the simple things in life. I think that if we just take the time to slow down and really reflect on the things that matter most to us life might actually have more meaning. I don't know if that makes sense...hopefully it does. Anyway, i think its fun that we take one day out of the week to think about the simple things in life and what we are truly thankful for! Nothing interesting is going on here in Athens! We do have to babysit and relay for life tomorrow!!! WOO I hope everyone has a super day!!!

Thankful Thursday list: laughing instead of frowning, my uncle Joe Budzinsky coming home today, Relay for Life, Chad's fantastic ability to always know what to say and do, my wonderful family that I cannot wait to see, Easter Weekend, and my sweet Jesus! What is on your list????

so tiredd...

I am behind on blogging yet again...i'm sure its beginning not to surprise anyone. Chad and I both have been busy doing work and trying to stay caught up to get ready for finals! We only have about 2 more weeks of classes and then a week and a half of finals! WOOO! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am and ready to be home for the summer! Monday was sort of a boring day, as far as classes and such. Chad and I did play ultimate frisbee. It got a little intense. We still lost which sucks really badly. We ended that on Monday, and we will start our post season games or championship games or whatever. Yesterday was not that great of a day. However, I did find out that i passed my History exam FINALLY! WOO! But I did get some bad news about some tests. I was really own yesterday about it. Its so discouraging when you study so hard and then get a grade back that you thought you totally didn't deserve. So i guess I am struggling with that right now. but anyway, I hope everyone has a fantastic day!!!
