almost christmas......

Well, I'm glad that I could wait another full month and however many days to blog again. It feels so good to be done with school. I got home on Tuesday and got my wisdom teeth out Wednesday morning. I have been sitting in a lounge chair in the middle of my living room for the past 5 days. I am starving and tired of my mouth hurting. haha....That is about the story of my life thus far. Chad went to New York with his family to see Megan in one of her shows. They are on the way back today. I believe they had an awesome time. Better time then i've had i'm sure! :) Our grades are good so far. We have not gotten all of them back...I have two A's right now. That is all the grades i've gotten back so far. I am very pleased with that so far! Anyway, Christmas is right around the corner. I cannot believe it. This semester has flown by. I have been so blessed as I look back over this semester. I have gotten to do so much and been rewarded by so much. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

New York!

Hey Yall! Its been awhile since I have blogged. I have been putting more into my work then blogging this semester I guess! ;) Anyway, most of you know that Chad and I went to New York for our fall break weekend. A lot of people wanted to know how it was and so forth so here is the run down of the trip for you. We left on Thursday after we got out of class. We flew stand by on a college program called AirtranU. We got on the very first flight that went out as soon as we got there and we got FIRST CLASS. I never want to have to sit in the regular class again! We left the airport about 8:00. The flight was originally delayed because of weather. That worked out in our favor I guess. We got to New York about 11:30ish. We took a taxi to our friend Mason's apartment who lives in the city. We went immediately to his apartment and watched the end of the World Series, which lasted until about 12:30 might I add. So Chad and I went to bed about 1ish and then we got up at 3 that same morning. Yeah, it was crazy and we were tired. But we left Mason's apartment about 3;]:30 and headed to Regis and Kelly. We were the first people in the stand by line. We waited from about 4 a.m to 8:30 when they finally allowed us to go into the studio. We got to watch Regis walk across the street to the studio, and then watch the show. Highlight of my trip I might add. After the show was over we walked through central park, Time Square, and down Broadway. We then ate at this Hamburger shake place that was pretty good. Then we met up with Chad's sister for a few hours. That consisted of sitting in Starbucks out of the freezing cold weather. After we left Megan, Chad and I went to the 9-11 memorial. We did not actually get to see it because we did not have tickets, but it was cool just to be in the area and see it through the fence they had up. Since we were in that part of town, we went to Mason's work to get his apartment keys. Now it is about 8 p.m. Chad and I are about to fall over on the street and go to sleep. We got the keys and got a mini tour of Goldman Sacs. We went back to Mason's apartment and rested until he got home. Then we went to eat at this little hole in the wall Italian place. It was pretty good. Then we went home and slept! woo! Day 2: We slept in late and woke up to snow, rain, and wind. We decided to brave the weather and go out to a pretty famous bakery called Amy's Bread. It was SO GOOD! We walked about the city for as long as we could stand it and then eventually ended up at a Georgia bar to watch the UGA game. It was a cool experience because everyone in the bar was an UGA alum, so the place was packed and all cheering for the same team we were. After the game was over, Chad and I went back to Mason's apartment to change out of our wet clothes. Me more then him because I forgot my rain jacket. We then ate dinner at this restaurant called Becco. It was amazing! We ordered this special that they had. You got a salad and then 3 of their pastas of the day which was penne shrimp in a vodka sauce, pumpkin ravioli, and a pesto green bean pasta. They were so AMAZING! Best meal we ate! Then we got the dessert sampler with all kinds of cheesecakes and cakes. It was so great! Then we went home and slept after that! Day 3: We got up and went down to Kliendfields (the Say Yes to the Dress Wedding show). Second best thing that happened to me on the trip. Chad was not really thrilled about this part but i love it! Then we went and ate brunch/lunch at a place called the Dish. It was really good too. We had like a breakfast platter thing. Then we went back to the airport where the drama began. We couldn't get a flight back to Atlanta flying standby because so many flights had gotten cancelled the day before. After throwing a complete crying fit, we settled on buying plane tickets home. Its still a touchy subject for me to talk about because Chad is stubborn. What else is new? Anyway, that was the extent of our trip. It was amazing! I want to go back to badly already! I cannot even believe it has been a month since I last blogged. This is terrible yall. Hahaha....This semester has been unbelievably busy. I told myself coming into this semester that I was not going to stress over school. I was just going to enjoy every minute of it and do whatever I wanted anytime I wanted to so that I didn't miss out on anything in my college years. So far, I have held true to those standards. That is why I have not been blogging because I have been so busy! Ok, so let me recap literally a month for you. We had big/little reveal in my sorrity. I got the best little ever and I'm so happy to have her in my "family," since there were only two of us. Here are some pictures from that.....

It was a lot of fun. We made them go on a scavenger hunt. At every clue there was a clue and a piece of their costume. Nicolle and I were Oreos and milk. It was a fun time.


Then we had Scarlett Ball. Its basically like a homecoming in high school. All of the new girls get to walk down the steps of the house with their date and get their named called out in front of everyone. This happened the day they got initiated into the sorority. Ok...next was the craziest weekend of my life, which was two weekends ago. Chad and I crammed in babysitting,UGA football game, sky diving, taylor swift, and studying for mid terms all in one weekend. We were exhausted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should ask Chad about his sky diving experience. They actually crashed when they hit the ground. I didn't post pictures of that, but you should ask him about it. This is him walking towards where I was all scraped up. He walked with hobble all night.

We were 15 rows back in a packed out crowd. The concert was amazing! Chad and I were super surprised. She put on a great show and sounded pretty good as well!

Now we are on to this past week. I found out monday morning of last week that I GOT INTO MY PROGRAM!!!!! I am officially an Early Childhood Education major and will graduate in 4 semesters. I was so excited and so proud. I have worked so hard for great grades. I basically worked all summer on getting all that mess together! I was super excited about it though. Chad and I have had midterms for the past two week. I had 3 last week and 3 this week. Chad had a couple last week and 3 this week. We have been super busy with school stuff and trying to keep up. We went home this past weekend because one of my friends got married! It was such a beautiful wedding. I enjoyed seeing some of my friends that I have not seen in a while. This week is my birthday week. My friends are so awesome. They decorated my room! Here are some pictures.

My wonderful roommate Janette is doing a clue a day attached to a gift. I have to find the clues that are super tough :) and then wait the next day for the next one! She is so great! As are all of my friends!!!!

I know..its been a while.....

Hello friends and family! I know I have not posted in ages. It has literally been the craziest 4 weeks ever. I cannot really remember all that has gone on! Chad and I went home for labor day weekend. We had a nice relaxing time at home. We both have been working really hard this semester on keeping our grades up, which is super hard to do if you want a social life. We had a full weekend this past weekend. Chad's a capella group had auditions and had a great turn out. They got 3 new boys and 3 or 4 new girls. Everyone was really excited about that. Chad and I went out with WSEM (the a capella group) on Thursday night. We went and did Karokee with the group. We had a blast. Pictures are on the bottom. I had to work all day on Friday from 8:00 too 5:00. Chad and I went and visited with his aunt for a little while. Then we had a Rave birthday party to go to on Friday night. Saturday was the big football game. We went to the game. It was crazy! I was so upset that we lost! but it was so close! We win some and lose some. That is just how it goes. I got really sick on Friday night battling a cold. SO i didn't do anything on Sunday except lay around all day. I am still sick today and currently my voice is gone. That has been taking a toll on me a little. Chad is great. He is being awesome like always! Enjoy the pictures. They are fantastic!

hello to you all!

The reason I did not post yesterday was because Tuesdays and Thursdays are so crazy busy for me! I literally go from 8:30 until about 10:30 and I crash hard at 10:30. Hopefully I can do better in the up coming weeks. I am not going to make any promises. Yesterday was filled with class and work. Nothing too exciting happened. However, today I found out that I got A JOB!!! :) I was very very happy and pleased. I got a job here on campus working as a substitute for the daycare here on campus. I was super excited about that! Today I went to class and did homework. I have had a lot of homework already. It's only two weeks into the semester. I feel like it's rushing by already. I just got back from Wesley. It was fantastic. I love Wesley so much. It is so great that it is on Wednesdays too. Right in the middle of the week when you need that extra push to get through the rest of the week. Who better to give you that extra strength and push than God? I also decided tonight that I want to join a small group through Wesley called Cure. Basically what they do is they work with hospitals and raise money for children that need surgeries that cannot afford them. The group organizes dances and fundraisers to raise money for the children. It also involves going in to the hospitals and praying with the families if they would allow it and just praying over the doctors and the child. It really touched me to hear about it. I believe that it is a new thing on campus. So I am really excited about getting involved with that! Other than that...I don't really have anything else to say. Tomorrow is Thankful Thursday though! GET EXCITED! NIGHT! :)

Hello everyone! I have to keep up with this Blog better! I'm not starting off so well! haha So lets start with Friday....I actually applied to two jobs on Friday. I applied to a day care near Athens and the day care on campus. I should be hearing back from those places soon. I am excited. I enjoy working and miss being around kids. A job at a day care would cure both of those problems! :) Friday, Chad and I went out on a mini date night. We cooked an awesome dinner of sweet potatoes, salad, and bread. Then we went and saw Crazy Stupid Love. It was so great! I definitely recommend going to see that if you want to go to the movies! Then Saturday we washed lots and lots of clothes. We also went to dinner at Chad's aunt's house. We celebrated Oma and Opa's 56th wedding anniversary! It was so nice to get together and have a great meal with them. Congrats to Oma and Opa on that awesome 56 years of being married! After we got home from the little anniversary party, Chad and I went to one of his friends birthday party who is in Chad's a capella group. We had a blast just hanging out and getting to know that group a little better. Sunday was pretty much a lazy day. We didn't do much at all. Today was SO HOT! When I dropped Chad off after class about 20 minutes ago it said it was 100 in my car! I was sweating to death! Overall, classes are going well for me and Chad. He is really enjoying his classes. I am enjoying mine as well. I just do not like to go to class. haha Tonight is formal Chapter, so we have to get dressed up! blah! Anyway, I hope everyone had a great morning! Almost Friday!!!

Hello everyone...its Thursday!!! Almost the weekend and its thankful thursday! WOO! Tuesdays and Thursdays are my longest days of class, so its tough for me to get through the day without being negative or not wanting to go to class. Plus Thursday is almost Friday, so need to try and keep up with thankful thursdays so that I stay positive! Classes are going really well. I think my toughest class so far is going to be Spanish. I am so bad at it and my teacher is sort of scatter brained. I wonder sometimes if she knows what she is teaching us and in what order. Chad is loving his classes and his class schedule. He has been doing his homework and reading all week. I am so proud of him. He is so great. I should talk about/ give more praise to him on here. Anyway, today we went to class. I had to get the last of my books today. I did that. Thursdays is also Chick Fil A night for us. We went to dinner there with the boys, Ginger, and me. It was a good time. The boys are currently in this Xbox mode. They have been playing Batman all day (mostly Tyler because I feel like he never goes to class). It has been quite entertaining to say the least. haha Anyway, over all it has been a good day. I hope everyone else had a good day as well!

hello there!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! Chad and I most certainly have been busy lately. We started classes on Monday. All of our classes are going well. We both have pretty awesome schedules. We don't start until about 11 or 12:30 everyday. Its super nice! :) I also had bid day on Monday. Bid Day is the day that the new girls that rushed get their bids from their sororities. My sorority had a HUGE turn out. There are 52 girls in my pledge class. The new class that just came in has 71. So we had a great rush week as you can tell. hahaha It has been a lot fun. We had a DJ out on the front of our lawn. We all danced basically all night. It was a blast. Everyone had a great time. Our new girls have thoroughly enjoyed themselves this far. Tuesday we didn't do much except go to class. Chad and I watched a pretty good movie last night. I think it was called Lincoln Lawyer. It was really good if you are into mystery type movies. Tonight we are going to Wesley. I am excited. I love Wesley. Its a huge worship service for those of you who aren't as familiar with UGA. It is the biggest church organization here at UGA I believe. We are going to praise Jesus tonight in the best way possible! So i hope everyone has an awesome Wednesday! Tomorrow is thankful Thursday! I'm so excited to be getting back to those! :)

busiest week of my life....no joke.

Hello! I hope everyone had a great week and weekend. It seriously blows my mind that I have not blogged for a week. I have been so busy that I've had no time to do anything but sleep and do rush stuff! hahah Basically this is what I have been doing for the past week. During Rush we have 4 rounds. The first round which is tomorrow is just talking to the girls that come through. We get to know them in a 20 minute time frame as best we can. This will last Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is round 2. This round is house tours. We just take them around the house and let them ask questions. Round 3 is Saturday and that is our skit round. Our skit is based off of Grease. It is absolutely hilarious. We have certain songs and jokes that go along with the skit that have to do with sororities. It isn't actually from Grease just to make that clear. Then the last round is called Prefs. It is sort of a more sentimental round. Best friends get up and tell stories about each other, and we sing really sweet slow songs that are supposed to make the girls want to go AXOs. haha The fun begins tomorrow at 7 AM. Everyone has to be up SUPER early tomorrow morning! It should be a good week hopefully. A couple of us in the sorority have been having a Bible Study every morning. We have been praying over rush and the girls that are coming in. That has been super helpful for me just knowing that God has complete control over this whole situation because I am seriously nervous about it.
Overall the week has been really good. At some points I have been super struggling with a few things. In the big picture, those little petty things truly do not matter at the end of the day. I am just so thankful for such a loving God, family, and friends that surround me on a daily basis. I have been so blessed to even be in the situations of this week and the upcoming days. It is such a mission field for me and my fellow Christian sorority sisters. So while having your quite time with Jesus, please just remember me and rush going on up here! We could use some prayers! I have found much comfort in the verse Philippians 4:4-7 this week! If you need a pick me up to get you through the week, I would seriously consider reading those couple of verses! I hope every one has a great rest of the week! I will try to blog but seriously, I have no idea if I will have time! Love you all!!! :)

officially moved in!

Hello!!!! I am officially all moved into AXO. It has been quite an experience already. Monday I moved in....today Janette (my roommate) and I have been getting up stuff on the walls slowly. I will post pictures soon. Today was our first official day of recruitment week. It was a lot of information on the do's and don'ts of the actual rush week....Nothing too too exciting there! I am super excited about living here and getting the experience of a life time. In the past two days, it has been better than I could have ever expected! I am so so excited! I do wish they had bigger closet space here...there is lots of storage but not so much the closet itself. I guess I can get past that! I hope that everyone has had a great start to the week! Cannot wait to tell you about more adventures as they come along!!! :)

I am back in ATHENS! It feels strange for some reason. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing. hahah I guess I feel like I am on vacation or something. Anyway, I move into the sorority house in the morning at 11:00. I have butterflies in my stomach already! I am excited and ready to begin the week! It is going to be two VERY VERY long weeks! Long Time No Read......

Hello to all! It has been a while! :) I have just packed up the car to leave for school tomorrow morning. I have mixed feelings about it. I am super excited about what I am about to get myself into for the next two weeks and this year, but I am also very sad. I hate leaving my family behind and my normal routine. Definitely a bitter sweet moment I would say. I hope everyone is doing well. I hope to see those of you that I have not seen in quite some time soon. I have loved spending time with those here in Thomasville, and my family down in Destin this summer. I will miss them tons! Cannot wait to keep up with blogging and talking to all of you again! :)

Well one exam to go for me and two for Chad. he has his exam tonight at 7 and then 8 in the morning. I finish up tomorrow at 3:30. THANK GOODNESS! I am so ready to be home. This past week has been so stressful! Hope everyone is doing well!

reading day= over.

Well today was the lovely reading day. Basically what that means is the day after classes end and the day before finals begin. Also...usually people do nothing on reading day unless they have a final the next day, which I have one and Chad has two. So guess what we did all day...if you guessed studying then you are right! :) THUMBS UP! I am so tired of studying already. I really dislike Chad for looking at a powerpoint and reading it about twice, then going and making a 100 on the test. I cannot do that! For the life of me......i study and study and study and still come out with a poor grade. it is really discouraging. So anyway....finals start tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day when life officially is no fun for me until a week from today. I have a final every single day of finals. ALL FIVE DAYS! I am so stressed out and Chad is mister cool cat. He does not care. He wants to know why i stress1 :) he is silly! But continues to make me laugh when I want to cry and scream. I guess I will keep him around! I hope everyone had an awesome Tuesday!!!

Last day....

This is a pretty historical day....not only because Bin Laden is dead but also because this was my last day ever of my first year of college. I feel a little bittersweet about it. This year has taken me on a total crazy ride. Tonight we had our last Chapter meeting. All the senior got up and spoke about what their plans were and gave us some advice that they wish they were given. I sat there watching all the senior cry and tell their funny/emotional stories about how fast life goes by. That is totally how I feel right now. This year went by so fast. I cannot believe I will be applying to my major in August. That is crazy! Chad is well on his way to be graduation soon...or at some point. It is sort of a scary feeling to know in just 2 and half short years I will be out on my own. No college, no living under my parents roof or off their money, no just getting good grades to one day get a new job....I will actually be on my own. I totally just freaked myself out. Well good thing Chad and I have great families that surround us with love and encouragement every single day! You guys are awesome! and just to let everyone know....motivational text messages are totally appropriate this week. Chad and I are NOT MOTIVATED to study what so ever. TOTALLY BAD, I know. Anyway...i hope everyone had an awesome Monday!

The storm has arrived.....

dumm dumm dummm.....finals week is here. If i could "type" a scared frantic face i would, but i don't know how. I won't even begin to try. haha Anyway, wow! What a weekend this was! We had so much going on this weekend! I felt like i never stopped! Friday, Chad and I got up and watched the Royal Wedding! :) It was amazing!!! Later that night, I had a sorority date night. Chad and I went to that. It was at this awesome fancy place. There were two guys performing called the Dueling Pianos. They were so awesome. They had two key boards set up and girls would request songs. The two guys would play it and sing it, but it was sort of a contest of who could play it better. It was awesome! So that was on friday. Then Saturday, we met a lot of Chad's family for lunch. That was nice to see everyone and have an awesome lunch. Chad had to sing at a wedding on Saturday. He claims it was a disaster, but I bet it was awesome. Also yesterday, I had to babysit. That is always a blast. Then they had Twilight here in Athens last night. It is a huge bicycle race that they do downtown. We went to that. It was really cool. They block off most of the streets downtown, and the men and women race. Then today....I had rush workshop meetings and Chad has a test tomorrow. He has been studying. I have been hanging out at the sorority house. I think you all are now up to date on our lives now. this weekend has felt like forever long. I am just ready for this week to fly by. We will see! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend!

Calling out to all the survivors out there!

Hello!!! I hope everyone is safe and sound. We had some pretty rough weather last night. I believe the tornadoes started about 1 and lasted until about 2. I don't know. When you are woken up at that hour by an emergency phone call and rushing around trying to figure out what to do, you do not really think about the time. haha So anyway, it never got terrible here. We just had a bad thunderstorm it seemed like. The wind never really picked up. The lightening was terrible though. Enough with the weather though, Chad and I have been studying for finals. I am trying to stay focused. It hasn't worked out for me yet, but I will let you know when it does. Nothing has really been going on. I got news yesterday that one of my best friends is getting married, and I am the bridesmaid to me. That was exciting. That is about all the excitement that has happened here in Athens. Oh yes, one more thing.....yesterday was the nation wide day of $0.31 ice cream day at Baskin Robbins. I got a waffle cone and two scoops of ice cream for ONE dollar. It was fantastic. :) If you didn't take advantage of that, you should have! OKK! Everyone have an awesome day!!

i figured.....

i figured since it was Tuesday I should probably blog. haha So much for keeping up with this everyday. Anyway, Easter weekend was amazing! I did not want to come back to school. Chad was ready of course because he wants to just get done. I am so ready! Nothing much has been going on. I keep saying this week is the calm before the storm. I do not have anything to do this week. But the next week and half I have five finals. I believe Chad does too. He has a lot of work to do this week though. He has been working hard. I cannot really think of anything else to say. haha so i hope everyone has had a great start to the week so far! :)

It's THANKFUL thursdayyy!!!!

Hellooooo!!!! Today is a fantastic day not only because it is thankful thursday but also because Chad and I get to GO HOME TODAYY!!!! I'm so pumped! I miss home so much! I never thought I would miss it as much as I do! We are so excited and so ready. This day is already dragging on! :( Anyway, last night Chad and I played ultimate frisbee. We lost once again. So we are done for this reason!! But we had so much fun and got to meet a lot of really cool people! We are looking forward to many more intramural sports in the future! That was about all we did yesterday. I had a lot of work to do. Chad had a test that he felt good about. So that was good. Now we are all packed and ready to come home! Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Easter weekend. I might not be on until Sunday...we will see!

Past few days......

Sorry guys....its a busy time heading into the last week and half of school!! YEAHHH!!!! Ok...so recap. Sunday: We all went to church. After church, our friend Sarah Hardy had a Palm Sunday lunch. We went to that. Chad and I brought cock pot Mac and Cheese! It was really good! It was a Paula Deen recipe! Everybody ate and then we hunted Easter eggs and played games! :) Monday: nothing interesting happened! I had chapter. Today....nothing much has happened. We are getting excited to come home. We are leaving Athens on Thursday and spending Easter in Thomasville! We are very excited! So that is about it. You are caught up on our lives so far. Chad has been studying hard for a test he has tomorrow. I am doing a paper, a resume, and i get to teach 18 3 and 4 year olds tomorrow! So i am super excited!!! :) I hope everyone has had a great day and start of the weekk!!! :)

Friday/Saturday!!

Gooddd morninggg! i hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the weekend so far!!! I had quite the busy day yesterday! I was busy all day yesterday doing relay for life stuff plus studying for a math test I had later that day! After the math test, I had to babysit. I am starting to volunteer for this organization here at UGA that puts on a night for the UGA faculty. Basically, we set up games, movies, and activities for the UGA faculty's kids, and they can bring their kids and drop them off. We babysit the kids and let the parents go out on a date night. It is a really cool night. Last night was my first night doing it. I had a blast. Relay for Life was also last night. I had to go to that as well. We had a blast out there. The weather did not want to cooperate. So we ended up having to leave early. My sorority raised the most money out of all the other sororities, fraternities, and other organizations on campus. We are excited about that!!! :) Today Chad has a concert, and we need to do some work! haha I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!!

Thankful Thursday!!

Good Morning!!!! Its Thursday!! Thursday is like probably my new favorite day of the week! Its the day before Friday, and we all get to sit around for 10 minutes and just reflect on what we are thankful for. I'm beginning to see how important this really is. I am so busy all the time. I know that we has humans tend to overlook the simple things in life. I think that if we just take the time to slow down and really reflect on the things that matter most to us life might actually have more meaning. I don't know if that makes sense...hopefully it does. Anyway, i think its fun that we take one day out of the week to think about the simple things in life and what we are truly thankful for! Nothing interesting is going on here in Athens! We do have to babysit and relay for life tomorrow!!! WOO I hope everyone has a super day!!!

so tiredd...

I am behind on blogging yet again...i'm sure its beginning not to surprise anyone. Chad and I both have been busy doing work and trying to stay caught up to get ready for finals! We only have about 2 more weeks of classes and then a week and a half of finals! WOOO! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am and ready to be home for the summer! Monday was sort of a boring day, as far as classes and such. Chad and I did play ultimate frisbee. It got a little intense. We still lost which sucks really badly. We ended that on Monday, and we will start our post season games or championship games or whatever. Yesterday was not that great of a day. However, I did find out that i passed my History exam FINALLY! WOO! But I did get some bad news about some tests. I was really own yesterday about it. Its so discouraging when you study so hard and then get a grade back that you thought you totally didn't deserve. So i guess I am struggling with that right now. but anyway, I hope everyone has a fantastic day!!!

B-E-A-U-tifulllll!

What a gorgeous weekend!!!!! Its about time that this gorgeous weather showed up! It has been HOT here in Athens!!!! WOO! Summer is just right around the corner! I am so excited! School is really starting to take a toll on me. I am just so ready to be done! Chad and I enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend! We didn't do much, but sit around and pretend we were on vacation. haha it was a great weekend! I hope all of you had as great of a weekend as we did! Have an awesome Monday!

My last post was Sunday...oh no..

Sorry for leaving you hanging all week. I know that everyone has just been sitting at their computers waiting for me to post...not! ;) Anyway, this has been a super busy week for me. Monday I was studying for two test that I had on Tuesday. Chad and I also played ultimate frisbee Monday night with a team of some of my friends. We lost but had tons of fun. Tuesday, I had my test. Kelli and Casey also came over and hung out for a bit! Tuesday was also a huge day for Chad. He found out he got a job this summer with Flowers. Like a big boy job, not a bread route. Wednesday, Chad and I played ultimate frisbee again. Then today....nothing interesting has happened today. The Masters did start today. So that has been on the tv all day long. Chad had music. I think we are going to hang out with our friend Mason. Mason is cooking Chad and I dinner tonight. hahah so sweet.

I was told about a girl on Tuesday that was a freshman in high school that hung herself. This has bothered me since one of my friends told me. It amazes me how one person can touch so many lives. I truly believe that we all could do a better job at watching what we say and do. We never know who it is going to affect in the world. So please be praying for this girl and her family.

Thankful Thursday List: ultimate frisbee/ultimate frisbee team, an understanding boyfriend, the need to just reach out to Jesus when things are tough, a great family that loves me so much, friends that help me with math homework, and weekends!! What is on your list??

Sunday has not been a fun day!

Today has been soooo boring! I have studied ALL DAY LONG! I am so tired of studying! Tomorrow is going to be filled with the same thing! I did have rush workshop tonight. That is basically where my sorority pledge class goes in and learns songs and what we have to do for going through rush for next year. Rush to define that is a week long process where girls go to the sorority houses and check all of them out to see which one they want to be in. Of course, each sorority is trying to choose girls the same time the girls are choosing sororities. It is sort of confusing, but it is going to be lots of fun. Chad watched the Braves and went to music today. hahaha We are a bunch of lively people up here! I hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday and got to enjoy this beautiful weather!

procrasinating.....

I find that if procrasinating was a major here at UGA that might be the one for me and a bunch of other college students! ;) Unfortunately, it is not a major here or anywhere else and i'm so good at doing it. :) Anyway...we have had quite the busy weekend. Yesterday, I babysat a little boy named Guy! He is almost 6 months old and so so adorable! That was a blast. I am happy to be around little kids again and getting some moneyy! WOO! Last night, Chad, Tyler, and I went to Penny's house (Chad's aunt) for some dinner and time with family! We all had a blast talking and eating together! All the food was excellent!! Today, Chad had to sing with his music group WSEM at a sorority event at the Classic Center. I had my last gym dog meet today. UGA made it to Nationals! That was really exciting! The girls did so well today! We have had quite the eventful weekend so far. We will see what tomorrow has in store for us. Thankful Thursday!

I am really behind on blogging yet again. I actually thought that keeping up with a blog every day would be easy for me, but it has shown me that is not always true. haha So Tuesday I found out that I didn't pass my test that I needed to pass. Basically the struggle is this, I can only have 8 hours of classes left that do not pertain to the classes in my actual major. I can take a History exam and exempt that credit. So that is what I have been trying to do. I got the news on Tuesday that I did not pass. I was pretty upset about it, but just signed up for Wednesdays test yet again. Tuesday night I went to the most amazing thing I have ever been to in my life. It was called After Dark. A guy named Joe White came and preached and did role play about the Roman Soldier who built the cross for Jesus. It was so amazing. I cannot stop thinking about it. Joe White actually carried a light pole onto the stage, chop it up, and built a cross! It was amazing! His videos are on YouTube if you are totally confused. If you have time, you should take a look. Wednesday- nothing really exciting happened. I took my test, and it was a new test. I about cried. SO I probably didn't do well and will have to take it yet again. Today has been super rainy. I have not wanted to do anything..I have like a ton of work and studying to do. The rain hasn't helped the situation! :) Tonight Chad and I have a friend that is turning 21, so we are having dinner downtown. That is about it! Here is thankful Thursday list! gloomy dayyyy

I don't know if all of you out there had bad weather last night, but here in Athens was really really rough. We got some nasty stuff. It rained literally all night long. So of course, everything was soaking wet today...which I never mind because I LOVE my rainboots! It is also FREZZING here. I don't know what this weathers deal is, but it is about 41 degrees outside right now! :( Today was pretty blah for me! Chad got AMAZING NEWS today. He got into the ACCOUNTING PROGRAM!!! YAYAYAYAYA! He is so happy and I am so happy!! He has worked so hard and finally it paid off for him! SO congratulate him if you get a chance!!! Hope everyone had an awesome Monday! That is about it for me! :)

Yaya for a day of rest! Last night Chad and I went to my formal. It was so much fun! We absolutely had a blast. It stormed all day long yesterday, but the rain managed to hold off from the time we got there until the time we sat down on the bus! We were on a riverboat in Stone Mountain. We never got to leave the dock because of the weather, but that was ok! We ate and danced and ate some more and then danced. :) here are some pictures as promised.....

This picture was taken right before we got on the boat. There is a beautiful golf course there at Stone Mountain. It was also freezing last night. It was in the 50s or so. We were very cold and wet.
